For individuals with an injury to the nervous system or those with a progressive neurologic disease, compassionate and comprehensive care is necessary. Physio’s neurologic rehabilitation services are designed to help patients improve or maintain function, decrease balance challenges or issues and improve overall health and quality of life.

Our experienced therapists provide innovative treatments for patients and their families impacted by a neurological condition. We target the complex needs of individuals with:

• Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)
• Stroke
• Traumatic brain injury
• Multiple sclerosis (MS)
• Parkinson’s disease and associated disorders
• Vestibular impairments

• Other neurologic conditions

Our therapists will work with each individual to design a comprehensive and individualized care plan that targets their unique needs, focusing on increasing strength, and motor control to improve mobility and independence. Treatment plans may include:

• Standing endurance and reaching
• LSVT BIG™, which improves the amplitude or “bigness” of limb and body movement to help provide a stronger, more efficient gait, better balance and flexibility – and applies these skills to daily activities
