Our Team

Karin Heteherington, P.T.

Karin has been a member of Physio since 2006, with 32 years of clinical experience. She has worked in both hospital facilities and outpatient clinics. Karin completed her bachelor's degree in physical therapy at Quinnipiac College. She specializes in the treatment of manual therapy, post-operative rehabilitation, sports rehab and geriatrics. Karin has been married for 27 years with two college age children and loves animals and playing tennis.

Ashton Guest, P.T., DPT, COMT, VRS

Ashton has been a member of Physio since 2018, with 12 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the outpatient and traveling (Broadway shows/dancers) settings. Ashton completed her undergraduate education at Valdosta State University (double majored in theatre/dance and pre-physical therapy) and received a doctorate of physical therapy from North Georgia College & State University. She specializes in the treatment of vertigo/vestibular dysfunction, orthopedic manual therapy and post-operative care. Additionally, she has certifications in dry needling, functional movement screening and dance-specific injuries. Ashton enjoys spending her free time with her husband, daughter and miniature schnauzer finding a new adventure every chance they get!

Leo Jean-Louis, OTR/L, CHT

Leo has been a member of Physio since 2014. He has worked in the outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation settings. Leo completed his undergraduate education at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and received a master's of occupational therapy from Bay Path University. He specializes in the treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries and has obtained the distinct designation of certified hand therapist. When Leo is not helping patients in the clinic, he loves spending time with his wife and kids and enjoys speaking/learning about personal finance.

Angelina Micalizzi-Richardson, P.T., DPT

Angelina has been a member of Physio since 2021, with one year of clinical experience. She has worked primarily in the outpatient orthopedic setting. Angelina completed her undergraduate education at Kennesaw State University and received a doctorate of physical therapy from Brenau University. She specializes in the treatment of orthopedic rehabilitation. Angelina and her husband Matt have a fur-baby named Maddux. They enjoy spending time outdoors, attending Braves games and trying all of the great food Atlanta has to offer.
